The Store Supervisor supports the Store Manager by overseeing daily operations, ensuring premium product presentation, efficient stocking, and exceptional customer service. This role acts as a team leader, setting the tone for excellence and helping maintain the store’s upscale standards. The Store Supervisor also acts as the store’s MOD and is responsible for overseeing store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring an elevated customer experience.
This role supports team members, resolves issues in real time, and upholds the store’s standards for service, safety, and presentation. The MOD acts as the primary point of contact for both guests and staff when the store manager is not present.
- Guide and support store associates during daily tasks and delegate responsibilities, ensuring timely completion of stocking, facing, and cleaning.
- Train new team members on store standards, products, and customer service.
- Supervise daily operations across all departments to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Provide guidance and support to all associates, helping resolve questions, concerns, and workflow challenges.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, front‑faced, and visually appealing.
- Maintain planograms and promotional displays according to brand guidelines.
- Monitor product rotation and freshness, especially for premium and specialty items.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and locating items.
- Act as a visible and approachable leader on the sales floor, engaging with guests and resolving escalated service issues.
- Ensure that all customer interactions reflect the store’s commitment to hospitality and excellence.
- Stay informed about Kohler, Wisconsin Resort and Village:
Directions, Special Events, Restaurants, hours of operation, etc.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the manager.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and verifying product quality and accuracy.
- Ensure pricing accuracy and promotional signage is up to date.
- Communicate effectively with management to ensure staffing coverage and task completion.
- Assist with closing procedures, including cash handling, security checks, and shift reporting.
- Monitor store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and safety protocols.
- Support store‑wide initiatives and seasonal resets.
- Respond to emergencies, equipment issues, or unexpected challenges with calm and decisive action.
- Document incidents and communicate follow‑up needs to store leadership.
This is a full‑time position working weekends and weekdays. Shifts vary between 6:00 am - 9:00 pm.
Skills / Requirements- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- 2+ years of retail, grocery, or beer, wine, spirits experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- Familiarity with merchandising standards, POS systems, store operations, and basic cash handling procedures preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with computer software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to obtain WI Class A UST Operator Certification from a DATCP‑approved program within 30 days of start of employment.
- Ability to obtain WI Class A bartender “operator” license from approved program within 30 days of start of employment.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The hourly range for this position is $23.45 - $35.15. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
