Job Summary

The Surgical Account Manager will be responsible for driving surgeon demand across the full Surgical COT portfolio—including Stapling, Energy, Wound Closure, Electrosurgery, Situate, and Access & Instrumentation (A&I). The role focuses on developing and executing strategic sales plans, identifying practice trends, and cultivating key customer relationships to drive market growth and adoption.

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact across MDT account teams, including District Managers, Sales Area Directors, Sales Operations Specialists, and teams specializing in GYN and Hernia portfolios.
  • Lead the creation and execution of account-level contractual strategies.
  • Optimize contracts and drive category expansion across Surgical.
  • Own and execute quarterly Customer Business Reviews to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key economic and clinical stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption and utilization of all Surgical COT products, including Stapling, Energy, Wound Closure, Electrosurgery, Situate, and Access & Instrumentation (A&I).
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with field distribution partners.
  • Maximize partnership programs and leverage account intelligence to increase market share.
Key Performance Metrics
  • Achieve/exceed disposable quota (strategic & core).
  • Achieve/exceed hardware quota.
  • Expand contract categories.
  • Improve opportunity management and forecasting accuracy.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years experience*.
  • Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years experience*.
  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience*.

* Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.

Nice to Have
  • Strong B2B sales experience with consistent quota attainment or over achievement.
  • Demonstrated success growing new business and managing a sales territory in a highly competitive environment.
  • Strong understanding of clinical environments and the ability to communicate complex product information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in building and managing key customer relationships with decision-makers in both clinical and administrative roles.
  • Ability to analyze business trends and use insights to develop actionable strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., ) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary range: $75,000.00 - $75,000.00 (U.S., excluding Puerto Rico and specific California locations). In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP). Regular employees receive health, dental and vision insurance;
