A leader in the metal stamping industry is adding a Sales Engineering Manager to its team. This leadership role manages a Sales Engineering and Prototype team within a manufacturing environment. The position combines technical sales support, customer collaboration, prototype development, and team leadership to help drive new business and successfully launch products into production. Up to 25% travel is required.
Key Requirements:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in metal fabrication or stamping.
- Leadership and team development experience.
- Strong blueprint reading, GD&T, CAD, and cost estimating skills.
- Lead sales engineering and prototype activities.
- Support customer-facing technical sales initiatives and value engineering efforts.
- Coordinate with business development and operations to improve project execution.
- Monitor team performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Manufacturing-focused leadership role with customer interaction and moderate travel
