Job SummaryThe Site Security Manager at Jabil, Inc. is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security programs and policies to protect company assets, personnel, and information at a specific site. This role ensures compliance with all security regulations and standards, mitigates risks, and manages security personnel and systems.
Job Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain site‑specific security plans, policies, and procedures in alignment with corporate security guidelines and industry best practices.
- Manage and supervise security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and audits to identify potential threats and recommend preventative measures.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of all site security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
- Investigate security incidents, breaches, and suspicious activities, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Liaise with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other external agencies as required.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for all site employees.
- Manage security budget and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international security regulations and standards (e.g., CTPAT, TAPA).
- Coordinate emergency response plans and drills, including fire safety, natural disasters, and active threat situations.
- Implement and manage visitor management protocols and contractor security requirements.
- Conduct background checks and security screenings for new hires and contractors as per company policy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field;
Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive experience in security management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing or corporate environment.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive security programs and policies.
- Strong knowledge of security technologies, including access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems.
- Excellent understanding of security best practices, risk assessment methodologies, and incident response protocols.
- Familiarity with relevant security regulations and standards (e.g., CTPAT, TAPA, ISO 27001).
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
