The 2nd Shift Forklift Driver (Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM) plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within the warehouse and production environment during evening operations.

This position is responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and product damage. The Forklift Driver collaborates closely with warehouse and production teams to meet shipping and production deadlines while supporting overall operational efficiency.

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM

• Valid forklift operator certification or OSHA-compliant license
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial environment
• Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule reliably and punctually
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for documentation and labeling
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software
• Familiarity with safety regulations and material handling best practices
• Previous experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Additional certifications related to warehouse safety or equipment operation

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and storage areas
• Inspect forklifts daily and report maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate inventory movement records and assist with cycle counts
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training
• Organize and optimize warehouse storage space and workflow
• Assist with general warehouse duties such as packing, labeling, and staging orders

Forklift operation and safety compliance are essential for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the shift. Basic literacy and numeracy skills support accurate recordkeeping and adherence to operational procedures.

Experience with warehouse management systems improves inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency. Strong communication and teamwork skills help ensure smooth coordination during shift operations and peak workload periods.
