Service Mechanic

STS Technical Services is hiring Service Mechanics (Level I) to join our Fortune 500 client’s team in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In this role, you will assist with diagnosing vehicle malfunctions, perform preventive maintenance, and repair a variety of heavy military transit and support vehicles under the guidance of skilled mechanics. You will also gain experience in basic vehicle repair, paint and body work, and electrical diagnosis, all while working in a modern, temperature-controlled facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in diagnosing and repairing heavy wheeled vehicles Support skilled mechanics with the removal and replacement of vehicle components Learn and apply preventive maintenance inspection procedures Develop repair techniques for issues identified during inspections Repair and adjust torsion arms, air bags, and other suspension system components Test, repair, and replace electrical and lighting system components

Shifts:

1st

Shift: Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM;

Required Qualifications:
