DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!

Hours: Friday - Sunday, 6:30am - 6:30pm, work 36 hours but get paid for 40 hours

Pay: up to $35.00/HR

Duties:
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment performance issues.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records, service logs, and parts inventory documentation.
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform emergency repairs and respond to production equipment breakdowns as needed.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history.
  • Assist with PLC troubleshooting and support automated equipment operations.
  • Ensure machinery operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
  • Follow OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and company policies at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area.
Qualifications:
  • Technical certification or Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of preventive maintenance programs and maintenance best practices.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple maintenance priorities.
  • Ability to inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of production equipment and machinery to support operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
