Embedded Software Engineer

This position is on‑site in Oshkosh, WI
.

• Responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting software for electronic products.
• Integrating software in an Agile team setting using continuous integration tools.
• Record and track software bugs to closure.
• Investigate and resolve software issues promptly.
• Ensuring quality software and electrical components are developed for defense/commercial vehicles or parts in defense/commercial vehicles.
• Utilizing C/C++/C# to develop embedded software and applications.
• Interfacing with stakeholders to develop and meet requirements.
• Identify and recommend potential solutions or process improvements for the team.
• Creating and executing test strategies while performing analysis based on testing results.
• Develop and program high‑performance controllers within the CODESYS environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM‑related field.
• At least 4 years of demonstrated experience with embedded software development (C, C++, CODESYS).
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Knowledgeable about software programming processes and techniques.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to travel to Oshkosh or be located on‑site.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical/computer engineering, or software engineering.
• Working experience with C, C++, or C#.
• Experience developing software in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of software communication protocols.
• Experience debugging in an embedded systems environment.
• Previous experience developing and meeting system requirements.
• Previous experience creating and executing test strategies based on requirements.

• Experience with HIL (Hardware in the Loop) or SIL (Software in the Loop) testing.
• Previous experience in the off‑highway industry.
• Experience working with continuous integration tools and software repositories.
• Knowledge of CAN J1939 and ISOBUS.
• Ability to mentor and share knowledge with others.
