Evergreen is seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to join the team in its Fitness and Aquatics team.
Schedule- Monday 9:00am-4:00pm
- Tuesday 9:00am-3:00pm
- Wednesday 9:00am-6:00pm
Available position is 21 hours a week. Wage is $18-$20/hr (based on experience). Room to grow into more hours as the department continues to grow.
This position includes paid vacation & sick time, access to dental and vision insurance, and matching 403(b) retirement savings.
What You Will Do- Coordinate and lead classes in the Fitness and Aquatic Center
- Restorative therapy, working one-on-one with residents
- Maintain Aquatic Center, exercise equipment room and changing rooms
- Act as a lifeguard/perform Basic Water Rescue as needed
- Participate in benchmark data collection and independent resident orientation
- At least 18 years of age
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in physical education, recreation therapy, fitness field or equivalent experience
- Current lifeguard certification or ability to demonstrate competency in Basic Water Rescue
- Strong prioritization and organization skills
