Position: Class A Third Shift Hourly Shuttle Truck Driver

Class A CDL Truck Driver

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Oshkosh, WI—offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Pay and Schedule
  • $1,570.75 weekly guaranteed (must work all 5 days)
  • Hourly: $29.00
  • Hours per week: 50+ hours
  • Loyalty Bonus: $1,000 at 6 months and $1,000 at 1 year
  • Sign‑on Bonus: $1,000 at 30 days and $1,000 at 90 days
  • Tenure Bonus: $300 every quarter
  • Paid training
  • Schedule:

    Monday – Friday, no weekends
  • Start time: 5:00 PM
Route and Equipment
  • Route:
    Home daily (Oshkosh, WI to Bolingbrook, IL)
  • Tractor:
    Day Cab Automatic
  • Trailer:
    Flatbed 48', 53'
  • Freight:
    Load securement – strapping and tarping; touch – steel and metal

Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (including drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within past 3 years, OR 2 years within last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by customer
  • Perform other duties as assigned
