Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Oshkosh, WI — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Weekly Minimum Guarantee of $1341.35 per week
• $206 Day Trip plus ($0.152 per mile and $2.18 per stop)
• Hours per week: 45+ hours
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, Start time 6:00 AM
• Loyalty Bonus:
  Pays you $1000 at 6 months and $1000 at 1 year
• Sign‑on Bonus:
  Pays you $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days
• Annual Tenure Bonus: $1200 per year, paid out at $300 per quarter

• 80 hours PTO first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid)

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by customer
• Other duties as assigned
• Transport solo to:
  Northeast Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula Michigan (route: home daily)
• Operate Day Cab tractor, 48' and 53' flatbed trailers
• Secure loads with strapping and tarping in wet weather

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months within past 3 years, or 2 years within last 5 years, or 5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
