Meadow creek Vineyard, the primary grape supplier for Tassel Ridge Winery, is now hiring for the 2026 season. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team in March/April and work through harvest which concludes in October/November.
Work Schedule- Typically, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, depending on weather conditions
- Occasional weekend work as needed
- 6:00 a.m.
- 2:30 p.m. through growing season - Early morning shifts (starting at 3:00 a.m.) during harvest season (August – September)
- Build and maintain trellis systems
- Prune, plant, tie, and irrigate vines
- Perform general vineyard maintenance including weed control and removal
- Harvest grapes
- Perform duties related to vine care
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme cold, heat, humidity)
- Physical capability to stand, walk, squat, and kneel for prolonged periods
- Exposure to allergens (pollen, bees, dust) and field critters
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to commute to multiple locations around Leighton and Oskaloosa, IA
Note:
Due to the limited season, candidates must already be authorized to work in the U.S. and be living within a commutable distance of Leighton, IA, upon submission of an application.
