Seasonal Vineyard Worker

Meadow creek Vineyard, the primary grape supplier for Tassel Ridge Winery, is now hiring for the 2026 season. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team in March/April and work through harvest which concludes in October/November.

• Typically, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, depending on weather conditions
• Occasional weekend work as needed
• 6:00 a.m.
  
  - 2:30 p.m. through growing season
• Early morning shifts (starting at 3:00 a.m.) during harvest season (August – September)

• Build and maintain trellis systems
• Prune, plant, tie, and irrigate vines
• Perform general vineyard maintenance including weed control and removal
• Harvest grapes
• Perform duties related to vine care

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme cold, heat, humidity)
• Physical capability to stand, walk, squat, and kneel for prolonged periods
• Exposure to allergens (pollen, bees, dust) and field critters
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to commute to multiple locations around Leighton and Oskaloosa, IA

Note:

Due to the limited season, candidates must already be authorized to work in the U.S. and be living within a commutable distance of Leighton, IA, upon submission of an application.
