Job TitleMaintenance Laborer – 2nd Shift (2:30 pm–1:00 am)
CompensationStarting wage: $23.93 per hour. Sign‑on bonus: $500 after 120‑day probation.
Responsibilities- Vacuuming & shoveling excess sand in hard‑to‑reach areas.
- Assisting maintenance department in other parts of the Metal Casting Facility.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Lifting/carrying less than 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching & twisting up to 90 times per hour.
- Standing & walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to move neck forward/back & turn right/left, kneel, squat, & climb using arms and legs.
- Repetitive use of both hands & fingers to grasp, flex, extend, exert force, wear gloves, & utilize tools.
- Frequent work in extreme temperature conditions inside & outside including slippery, uneven, unstable surfaces.
- Ability to work with hands in water, around machinery, at unprotected heights, with dust & fumes & operate a crane, truck, forklift & other moving vehicles.
- Ability to wear applicable PPE such as safety glasses, metatarsal‑guarded boots, hearing protection, respirators, welding mask, etc.
- Ability to recognize and utilize all basic and portable power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
