Job Summary:

To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning by providing specialized clerical and technical duties related to the assignment or placement, as well as related responsibilities requiring creative solutions to specialized site/department needs. Answer correspondence and assemble highly confidential and sensitive information.

Interact with a diverse group of external customers as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize and carry out a diversified workload, and make recommendations for changes in office practices or procedures.

Responsibilities:

* Provide secretarial support in the form of typing, word processing, filing, duplicating materials, faxing.

* Verify and process paperwork for the enrollment of new students.

* Request records from previous school. Receive, answer and refer student questions as they relate to school policies and procedures, attendance, discipline; provide information to administrative staff as requested.

* Enter enrollment information on TSIS.

* Input data into an Excel spreadsheet.

* Transfer completed enrollment records to schools.

* Maintain adequate inventory of office supplies for all staff.

* Serve as back up receptionist and maintain reception area.

* Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* General secretarial/clerical skills including word processing, establish and maintain data bases.

* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to help, serve, and exchanging information.

* Willingness to learn and use data management systems.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* High level of organizational skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively with enrollment center staff and customers.

Salary:
Class 3-B, $25.33 - $27.76 hourly (for 2025-26 school year)

Work schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8 hours/day; 5 days/week.
