Description:

To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning.

Job Summary:

* Implement Early Childhood Developmental Screening.

* Implement Early Childhood and Family Education summer programs for children ages birth to grade 3 and their parents. To include delivery and design of lessons that align with the curriculum practices of the Early Childhood & Family Education program.

* Maintain consistent communication with parents and work with them in the development of their child.

* Maintain attractive and developmentally appropriate learning environments.

* Attend and contribute to program staff meetings and training.

* Majority of class time will be spent outside

* Qualifications

* Valid MN teaching license in appropriate field

* Desired

Qualifications:

* Experience working with highly diverse populations

* Experience working with families of low socio economic status

* Experience working with young children with no or limited group experiences

Licensed External Hires - Hourly, Schedule D per teacher contract. Current district Teachers - view salary grid on teacher contract Education Minnesota

* Work schedule:

July 7
- July 31. Tuesday 8:30 - 4:00, Wednesday 8:45 - 3:15, Thursday 8:45 - 3:40. Daily assignments will be based on program needs.
