Job Description:
Parnassus Preparatory School is currently accepting applications for a full-time Special Education teacher (for the  school year). Full-time (1.00 FTE)

The ideal candidate would have experience teaching students with a variety of identified learning needs and the flexibility to adapt the general education curricula to meet the specific learning needs of students.

A high importance is placed on effective partnering with general education teachers, parents, and the administration.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• An appropriate MN teaching license is required
• Ability and willingness to teach the classical trivium and sequence model as defined by the school
• The ability to speak and write clearly and effectively
• Conviction in the values of a rigorous liberal arts education
• Ability to maintain an orderly classroom

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience preferred but not required
• An appropriate MN teaching license is preferred but not required
• Tier 3 or 4 License preferred but not required

Pay range: $45,150 - $81,375
