Job Summary
To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and confidence to achieve their dreams, contribute to community, and engage in a lifetime of learning by assisting teaching staff and student with instructional support in the classroom.
Responsibilities- Support the academic and social-emotional needs of students.
- Assist the Principal, School Counselors, and Instructional Assistants with social‑emotional learning and behavior support to individual students.
- Supervise students in large group situations in the classroom and other areas of the building or in small groups.
- Work with students individually or in small groups instructionally.
- Assist in small group assessments and data management as it relates to student work in the areas of reading and math.
- Perform functions associated with classroom protocols.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
- Bargaining unit: Educational Support Professionals
- Salary: Classification 2; see salary grid on the relevant bargaining unit page.
- FTE: 6.5 hrs/day; 5 days/week
- Desired start date: September 8, 2026
