Job DescriptionTo inspire and prepare each and every scholar with confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams, contribute to the community, and engage in a lifetime of learning. The teacher will provide instruction and support in the curriculum areas or program for which employed, including writing and implementing individual scholar goals and objectives. Responsibilities also include evaluating scholar performance according to IEP goals, maintaining required scholar records, making related reports to licensed administrators, maintaining contact with guardians/caregivers, performing classroom management duties, enforcing district rules, understanding and applying due process guidelines, making equitable use of instructional resources and technologies, implementing district and school goals, providing in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning, collaborating with others, and participating in district, building, department, or program leadership activities.
Responsibilities- Provide instruction and support in assigned curriculum areas or programs.
- Write and implement individual scholar goals and objectives.
- Evaluate scholar performance according to IEP goals.
- Maintain required scholar records and make related reports to administrators.
- Maintain contact and communication with guardians/caregivers.
- Perform classroom management duties and enforce district rules governing conduct.
- Understand and implement due process guidelines following state, federal rules, regulations, and district policy.
- Use instructional resources and technologies equitably.
- Implement district and school goals and objectives.
- Provide in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning when applicable.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in leadership activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Mn teaching license in appropriate field (ABS) or a valid MN teaching license in another field and willingness to obtain an Out of Field Permission.
- Willingness to obtain a Tier 1 or 2 license if not currently licensed.
