Osseo Area School District 279 is seeking a licensed Spanish teacher to serve grades 6‑12 at Osseo Middle School, Brooklyn Middle School, and Maple Grove Senior High. The position is full‑time (1.0 FTE) with a starting date of August 31, 2026.
Job SummaryTo inspire and prepare each scholar with confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to the community; and engage in a lifelong learning process. Provide instruction and support in Spanish for grades 6–12. Design, deliver, and assess curriculum aligned with district guidelines, making equitable use of instructional resources and technologies. Maintain contact with guardians/caregivers and collaborate with colleagues. Willing to participate in district and building leadership activities.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree.
- Licensed to teach Spanish (grades 6‑12) in Minnesota, or a valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out‑of‑Field Permission.
- If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or Tier 2 license.
- Citizenship or valid work authorization required.
0.6 FTE at Osseo Middle School, 0.2 FTE at Brooklyn Middle School, and 0.2 FTE at Maple Grove Senior High.
