Job Description

Job Summary: To inspire and prepare each scholar with confidence, courage and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior to help scholars succeed academically, behaviorally, socially, and emotionally; provide psychological assessment and evaluation services; assist in educational programming for individual scholars; offer a broad range of consultation services to scholars, staff and guardians/caregivers;

assist administrators and staff in creating a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment that strengthens connections between home, school, and community; participate in the evaluation and improvement of the total program and operation of the school district; make appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technologies; implement the goals and objectives of the district and the school and/or program for which employed;

provide in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning when applicable and work collaboratively with others. Willing to participate in district, building, and department leadership activities. Ability to be flexible with work hours to meet the needs of guardians/caregivers at the discretion of the supervisor.

Psychologist

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • MN teaching license as a School Psychologist
    • If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 2 license.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) Preferred.
