Special Education Teacher | Osseo, Minnesota

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the  school year, making a difference as a Special Education Teacher in a supportive, collaborative environment. This school-based role offers 37.5 hours per week across several elementary sites and specialized settings, dedicated to serving students with unique learning needs. The assignment begins September 8, 2026, and concludes June 10, 2027.

Openings are available in the following areas:

• Center-Based ASD/DCD (2.0 FTE at Birch Grove Elementary, 1.0 FTE at Rice Lake Elementary, 1.0 FTE at Zanewood Elementary;
  ASD or DCD endorsement required
  )
• Center-Based SEL (1.0 FTE at Cedar Island Elementary;
  EBD, ASD, or DCD endorsement accepted
  )
• Resource Support (1.0 FTE at Fair Oaks Elementary, 0.5 at Birch Grove Elementary, 0.5 at Basswood Elementary;
  ABS, EBD, ASD, or DCD accepted
  )

• At least two years of experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting (paraprofessional, substitute, or general education roles do not substitute)
• Valid Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota Special Education license in one or more of the following: ASD, DCD, EBD, ABS
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to provide individualized instructional strategies
• Excellent communication style with students, staff, and families

• Deliver tailored instruction based on students' individual education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with supportive interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor goals
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Employ data-driven instruction and maintain accurate documentation
