Job Summary
The Recruiter – Pharmacy & Corporate Talent Acquisition is responsible for full-cycle recruitment of licensed pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy operations staff, as well as providing recruiting support for corporate office roles. This role partners closely with pharmacy leadership and corporate hiring managers to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality hiring that supports both frontline pharmacy operations and corporate business needs.
Pharmacy Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, interns, and pharmacy support roles
- Source licensed pharmacy professionals through job boards, professional associations, schools of pharmacy, and networking
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive pharmacy candidates
- Screen candidates for licensure eligibility, credentials, certifications, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate interviews with pharmacy managers and regional leadership
- Extend offers and negotiate compensation within approved guidelines
- Support high-volume hiring for new store openings, seasonal needs, and turnover coverage
Corporate Office Recruiting Support
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for corporate roles (HR, finance, accounting, marketing, IT, operations, customer service, and leadership)
- Partner with corporate hiring managers to define job requirements, competencies, and hiring timelines
- Post and manage job openings across ATS and external platforms
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring panels
- Support internal transfers, promotions, and succession planning efforts
Sourcing & Employer Branding
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill pharmacist and technical roles
- Leverage social media, referrals, career fairs, and campus recruiting initiatives
- Build relationships with pharmacy schools, residency programs, and professional organizations
- Promote the employer brand to attract top pharmacy and corporate talent
- Represent the organization at job fairs and community recruiting events
Candidate Experience & Onboarding Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process
- Ensure a positive, professional, and responsive candidate experience
- Coordinate background checks, drug screens, and credential verification
- Partner with HR and pharmacy leadership to support onboarding and orientation
- Ensure smooth transitions from offer acceptance to first day of employment
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all recruiting activities comply with federal, state, and pharmacy-specific employment laws
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion hiring initiatives
- Monitor licensure requirements, continuing education standards, and regulatory changes impacting pharmacy hiring
Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track and report key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness)
- Analyze hiring trends and labor market conditions for pharmacists and corporate roles
- Provide regular updates to leadership on hiring progress and pipeline health
- Identify process improvements to enhance recruiting efficiency and quality-of-hire
Work Environment & Travel
- This role is primarily office-based, with regular travel to pharmacy locations, career fairs, schools of pharmacy, and recruiting events.
- Travel may include same-day and occasional overnight trips to support hiring needs, new store openings, and relationship-building with pharmacy leaders and academic partners.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–7 years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare or pharmacy staffing
- Experience recruiting licensed professionals (e.g., pharmacists, nurses, or other clinicians)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and credentialing practices
- Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., Linked In Recruiter, Indeed, Workday)
