Shift: 5:30 am - 1:30 pm

About the role:

The Core Technology Polymers (CTP) team is looking for a motivated individual to join the Core Tech Polymers (CTP) team on 1st shift and support extrusion operations. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment, executing work orders, and providing technical support for engineering projects. This role will require collaboration with engineering, production, and quality teams to identify and resolve equipment malfunction related issues.

Work Mode

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week

Your responsibilities will include:

* Identify and fix equipment problems that arise during the extrusion process in a quick and effective manner to minimize downtime

* Perform routine maintenance, equipment qualification and document the details in the machine maintenance system in compliance with the Quality System

* Monitor processes and perform adjustments to ensure product quality

* Evaluates and orders necessary equipment, tools and fixtures.

* Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/product

* Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including moving equipment, standing for long periods, and handling materials

* Work with vendors/suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and/or equipment

* Participate in the redesign and/or development of equipment with the Process Development team to enable the integration of new products

* Contribute toward Core Tech Polymers Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance performance, reduce downtime, improve overall manufacturing efficiency, and other Value Improvement Projects (VIP)

Required qualifications:

* 4 years of experience with a high school diploma/degree/equivalent

Preferred qualifications:

* 5-8 years of experience of troubleshooting extrusion equipment or similar manufacturing environment

* Experience in extrusion equipment

* Basic understanding of medical device documentation requirements

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Requisition

Minimum Salary: $ 55432

Maximum Salary: $ 94224

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see  vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.

At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
