If you’re a hands-on technician who enjoys building, testing, and troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical hardware, this is the kind of role where your skills are put to real use. This position is ideal for someone who can work from drawings, use test equipment confidently, and support both production and continuous improvement efforts in a high-quality manufacturing environment.
- Perform assembly and testing of complex electro-mechanical and electronic products on a pilot production line
- Work from engineering drawings, sketches, and written or verbal work instructions
- Perform a range of tasks from repetitive to non-repetitive assembly on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
- Support assembly and test of ordnance systems and related components
- Assist team members with troubleshooting, problem solving, and transitioning new products into production
- Support continuous improvement activities across design, fabrication, and test processes
- Maintain accuracy and quality in all assembly and test operations
Skills Required
- Proficient in the use of electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, and related tools
- Experience using electrical assembly tools and standard hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches
- Strong precision and fine motor skills for detailed assembly and testing work with minimal defects
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of J-STD-001 requirements or similar standards
- Ability to conduct tests, collect data, and generate test reports
- Experience using measurement tools such as micrometers and torque wrenches
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment and follow safety policies
- 2-year technical degree or a minimum of 2 years of experience as a technician in a production or prototype environment
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a related field
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance

Pay Range: $31.00 - $36.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
