Part Time Cake Decorator

Job Overview

Cub Maple Grove is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part‑time cake decorator position! Cake decorators provide quality bakery products that meet customer needs, ensure customer satisfaction, and create a positive shopping experience.

• Prepare bakery products
• Stock, rotate, and face bakery product
• Ensure adequate quantities of product and decorating supplies
• Perform department clean‑up
• Assist with department merchandising as directed
• Assist with customer questions or requests

• Equipment operation (spatula, decorating tubes, airbrush, copy machine, cake projector, mixer, bakery rack)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• The position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment is required, as direct supervision may not always be immediately available
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 18 years of age and older

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces

UNFI anticipates paying the above‑referenced pay rate (or within the above‑referenced pay range) for this position. Actual pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
