Sr. Software Engineer

Requirements

• We are looking for candidates currently pursuing a masters degree, or who completed a masters degree within the last 12 months, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Engineering, Information Security, Mathematics, Digital Arts & Sciences, or a related discipline.
• We value experience applying computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis principles to software development.
• We seek familiarity with embedded software development for real-time systems and advanced tactical radio equipment.
• We look for hands-on exposure to software languages and technologies such as C , C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, and Qt.
• We prefer experience working across Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and embedded real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, QNX, Integrity, and Windows CE.
• We appreciate knowledge of hardware and software interface design, system-level performance requirements, and processor architectures including Motorola, Intel, TI, and custom designs.
• We require the ability to meet eligibility standards for security clearance and, where applicable, government investigation requirements.
• We require compliance with workplace screening processes, including background checks and substance abuse testing where permitted by law.

• We apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to develop software for the target application.
• We collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define and evaluate hardware/software interfaces, operational performance needs, and overall system design.
• We support every stage of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing of embedded software.
• We develop software test procedures, software applications, and related technical documentation.
• We use modeling tools and test equipment to gather operating data, run experimental evaluations, and interpret results.
• We participate in peer reviews and actively identify, track, and resolve defects.
