Marching Band Percussion Instructor
Qualified applicant must hold a valid/registered Illinois teaching license. This is a "Schedule A" additional duty position. Additional qualifications/skills required:
Communication skills, building relationships, energetic and enthusiastic. Responsibilities include attending all Marching Band rehearsals and performances in August, September, October, and November, creating warm-ups and additional music as needed to help with student learning, discussing rehearsal plans with other marching instructors, repairing any percussion equipment as needed, and overseeing percussion auditions and rehearsals that take place in April and May.
