ESOL Special Education Teacher

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement (required)
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or in ESOL, preferably in a K-12 setting

• Passion for supporting diverse learners and differentiated instruction

• Deliver high-quality instruction to students with diverse learning needs in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum materials and classroom activities to ensure accessibility
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to maximize student growth
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Implement appropriate behavioral interventions and positive classroom management strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and professional learning opportunities
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education services
