Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Pay Range $20.00 - $22.00
 1st Shift - 8:00 am - 4:30 PM

 Radiac is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our superabrasive team in Oswego. This position is responsible to:

 In this position you will be responsible to ensure the product is packed and shipped efficiently, accurately, and timely through the SAP system. As well as receive any materials, supplies, and returns that arrive each day.

Responsibilities include:

Maintaining department 5S and Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
 Creating delivery notes for shipments to customer from closed out manufacturing orders
 Finding product and provide production personnel with appropriate documents to package material
 Collating documents to pull product from stock to be packed for shipment to customer
 Processing documents for shipping/invoicing/producing a bill of lading. In contact with carriers to schedule pick-ups.
 Unloading trucks delivering materials safely and efficiently.
 Recording all receipts daily into SAP.
 Getting rate quotes and proof of deliveries for shipments.
 Processing UPS and Fed Ex parcel shipments---unloading boxes off line to a pallet for parcel service to pick up.
 Filing bill of ladings and Radiac’s copies of packing list (green sheet).
 Managing the warehouse and shipping lines to efficiently get product shipped.
 Packing product according to work instructions.
 Shipping the most cost effectively and obtaining POD and tracking information for shipments.
 Ordering trucks to schedule pick-ups.
 Meeting shipping requirements daily per established standards.
 Communicating with Customer Service to ship product correctly to the customer.
 To qualify you must have the
 Ability to communicate read and write in English.
 Ability to perform basic math.
 Ability to use a computer.
 A minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
 High School Diploma or GED.
 Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending.
 Physical strength to lift and carry 50 pounds frequently.
 Physical ability to do repetitive work.
 Knowledge of SAP preferred.
