The Computer Science Department at the State University of New York at Oswego invites applications to fill a full time Assistant Professor of Practice position. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Salary range is commensurate with experience plus full New York State benefits package.

The Computer Science department seeks to hire a faculty member with primary interests, expertise and experience in Health informatics methods, processes, management, and policy. Faculty members teach and perform associated curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation support for courses in the Biomedical and Health Informatics graduate program. Faculty members also supervise student projects and capstones, conduct relevant research, and advise students.

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree or PhD in Health Informatics or a related field
• Experience in the design, management and use of health information systems
• Documented teaching and research ability in Health Informatics
