AboutThe Role
Drives liquefied gas powered or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift and clamps to lift, stack, tier, rotate or move products, equipment, or materials.
What You’ll Be Doing- Promotes and adheres to company safety work rules and regulations.
- Operates and understands the function of a forklift.
- Identifies all cuts and quality attributes in totes.
- Receives totes in the WMS system.
- Performs the blend transactions in the WMS system.
- Performs inventory adjustments in the WMS system.
- Transports totes or pallets to and from designated areas.
- Completes necessary paperwork.
- Cleans tote room for sanitary purposes.
- Replaces battery or fills propane tank on gas-powered hyster.
- Dumps, fabricates, and dismantles totes for redistribution or product storage.
- Attends and participates in all annual, departmental, and job specific required training and monthly informational meetings.
- Communicates problems or changes in department to supervisor or appropriate personnel.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
- Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process in order to ensure a quality operation.
- Helps build and promote a strong “Teamwork” environment in each individual work group, the Factory, and the Company.
- Participates in continuous improvement process.
- Must adhere to the McCain Code of Conduct.
- The employee may be required to successfully complete the orientation and training provided during the first ninety (90) days of employment.
Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations- Valid State Driver’s License.
- Valid McCain Foods Forklift Operator’s License.

Starting at $24.07 USD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts.
Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
