, located in Othello, WA, is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Crusher Operator to support daily operations, maintenance, and repair of crushing and screening equipment. This is a permanently located plant and does not require travel. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment. The crusher operator handles all mining-related activities including crew management, crushing equipment operation and maintenance, and fulfilling production requirements.

The operator ensures goals are met safely and efficiently while adhering to company policies.

• Operate, monitor, and adjust crushing plant equipment, including crushers, screens, and conveyor belt systems to ensure efficient production
• Perform maintenance and repairs on crushers, conveyors, screen units, and related equipment
• Conduct and document daily, pre-shift, and post-shift inspections to identify safety and maintenance issues
• Ensure preventive maintenance including greasing, oiling, and routine servicing is completed
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and carry out component replacement (cone liners, jaw dies, belts, bearings, pulleys, motors, etc.)
• Maintain conveyor systems, including belt tracking and splicing
• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, skid steers, and forklifts as needed
• Use hand tools and power tools; perform welding and fabricating as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and accurately complete required paperwork
• Maintain strict compliance with all Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) regulations and internal safety protocols
• Complete other tasks as needed

• Mechanical aptitude required; experience with crushing or aggregate equipment required
• Ability to safely and effectively troubleshoot and service electrical systems up to 480
  
  VAC
• Equipment operation experience with excavators and haul trucks is a plus
• Welding and fabrication experience (stick/MIG) required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and commitment to safety
• Valid driver's license required

• Ability to remain alert and aware throughout entire shift
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and working on uneven terrain
• Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Regular exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and moving mechanical parts
• Must wear required PPE, including respirators and fall protection
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

• Regular, reliable attendance is required
• Regular schedule is Monday - Friday, 40+ hours per week
• 8-hour shift starting at 6 AM to 8 AM, depending on season
• Overtime and occasional weekends may be required

• $25-$38/hour, depending on qualifications and experience
• Washington State Paid Sick Leave, one week of paid vacation in first year, one week of holiday pay at end of year
• After 60 days of employment: 90% paid employee medical/vision and dental insurance
• After one year of service: eligible to participate in 401(k) and receive a matching contribution equal to 100% of the first 4% of pay contributed
