• Drives bus on assigned routes in a legal and safe manner.
• Instructs students and teachers in emergency bus evacuation procedures twice a year.
• Instructs students in proper bus conduct.
• Reports misconduct on the bus through established district procedures.
• Fuels bus as needed.
• Conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure bus is in safe operating condition.
• Cleans bus interior and exterior as needed.
• Completes daily log forms and other paperwork as required.
• Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Department supervisor.

• Valid Washington State School Bus Driver Endorsement and current Washington State driver’s license.
• First Aid/CPR Card
• DOT Physical
• Ability to work well with others and promote a positive attitude
