What the role is about:

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Production Technician to join our growing dynamic team! The ideal candidate will be driven, innovative, compassionate, believe in the goodness of people and cannabis, and enjoy the one team, one dream motto. The Production Technician is responsible for trimming, curing, and packing cannabis flower. This position reports directly to the Cultivation Manager.

What impact you’ll make:
  • Assist with all aspects of trimming from bucking wet harvests, to packing flower for mass transport, to detailed hand trimming.
  • Monitor drying rooms for optimal conditions.
  • Trim dried cannabis flowers using hand‑trim and automated trimmer methods.
  • Break down fresh cannabis flowers from stems and separate usable product from unusable waste.
  • Track the amount of usable and unusable waste for each plant/batch via data tracking system.
  • Must be able to hand trim at least 2 oz./hour of dried flower, with attention to detail to create a high‑quality product.
  • Adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana being trimmed; adjust techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality.
  • Responsible for clean‑up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day.
  • Weigh and package cured flowers, trim and other by‑products for distribution to dispensaries and processing facilities.
  • Assist Cultivators with other duties around the cultivation site as directed.
  • Exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
  • Work well independently, as well as with others.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.
  • Follow basic instructions and accept constructive criticism from managers to maintain quality standards and production goals.
  • Show up on time for work every day ready to work.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by Vireo Health and the state while processing marijuana.
What you’ve accomplished:
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience working cannabis preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt quickly.
  • Flexible availability (weekends may be required).
  • Can sit and stand for long periods of time.
  • Can work in both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
  • Can lift up to 40 lbs.
Compensation & Shifts

Starting union rate: $18.00/hr competitive union benefits offered. Two shifts available:
Monday‑Friday 7:00 am‑3:00 pm or 3:30 pm‑11:30 pm.
