What this role is about
The Cultivation Supervisor is responsible for managing the cultivation team at the Otsego, MN location in support of vegetative and flower cannabis production. The role aims to maximize flower yield and quality, ensure a safe and efficient working environment, and foster a positive work culture.
What impact you’ll make- Lead, train, and schedule cultivation staff to ensure efficient execution of daily tasks
- Provide coaching feedback and performance management to team members
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Ensure adherence to all state cannabis cultivation regulations and company SOPs
- Maintain strict sanitation and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure product quality
- Track and report key production indicators
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Assist leadership with weekly and monthly production planning
- Complete timecard approvals in a timely manner
- Work closely with leadership to resolve personnel issues
- Hire and support new employees through onboarding and training
- Order cultivation materials and maintain inventory management
- Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA standards, proper PPE, and facilities safety protocol
- Minimum three years of experience managing a large indoor cultivation team
- Knowledgeable about the science behind producing high-quality cannabis
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Compensation: $60, annually
- Medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA Dependent Care, life insurance starting the first of the month after you start
- 401(k) program with a 3% employer match after six months of employment
- 11 days of accrued PTO in addition to two wellness days and volunteer hours in your first year
