About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented summer student to support the Learning Team on a range of digital, administrative, and research-focused projects. This role offers hands‑on experience in data organization, knowledge mobilization, and internal systems within a collaborative, mission‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support digital organization across the Learning Team by helping standardize files, folders, and archives.
- Assist with cleaning and migrating data across Salesforce and other internal systems.
- Contribute to knowledge‑mobilization activities such as uploading, categorizing, and auditing internal resources.
- Review program survey data to help identify trends and inform program improvements.
- Provide general administrative and creative support to various Learning Team initiatives as needed.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Be between 18 and 30 years of age (funding requirement) and have completed at least one year of postsecondary studies.
- Experience organizing digital files, folders, or cloud‑based systems (e.g., One Drive, SharePoint, Google Drive).
- Experience managing tasks, timelines, or small projects independently.
- Exposure to CRM systems, databases, or project‑management tools is an asset (introductory experience welcome).
- Experience with and/or knowledge of Indigenous cultures within Canada an asset.
- Experience working in or with the non-profit or charitable sector is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills;
French and/or an Indigenous language are considered assets. - Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when needed.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
- Comfort working with data and digital tools.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- A resourceful, problem‑solving mindset and basic research abilities.
- Willingness to learn new platforms and ask questions when needed.
- Hourly Wage: $21.74 per hour
- Standard Work Week: 37.5 hours
