Position: Full-Time Planning Clerk North Grenville

Join the Municipality of North Grenville as a full-time Planning Clerk to support all administrative tasks within the Planning and Development Department. You'll be the key contact for inquiries, helping to manage planning applications and provide essential customer service.

The Planning Clerk reports directly to the Director of Planning and Development, serving as the first point of contact for the department. This role involves assisting with reception, managing communications, and ensuring the efficient processing of planning documents. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be put to use as you support various planning activities and maintain accurate digital records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main contact for public inquiries to the Planning Department

• Coordinate external notices and maintain communication records

• Review planning applications and log submissions in systems

• Prepare Planning Act notices and manage mailing list updates

• Assist with meetings, minute-taking, and committee support

Requirements:

• Post-Secondary education in Office or Business Administration

• Two years of relevant work experience in an office setting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GIS software

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Valid driver’s license and Police Records Check
