Position: Municipal Planning Clerk Role
Location: Kemptville

Become a crucial member of the Planning and Development team at the Municipality of North Grenville as a Planning Clerk, dedicated to administrative efficiency and public liaison. This full-time role involves managing inquiries and supporting the planning process.

As a Planning Clerk, you'll work under the Director of Planning and Development, handling inquiries from the community and assisting with planning applications. You'll ensure effective communication with stakeholders, contribute to record management, and help coordinate meetings and reports. Your skills in organization and customer service will be pivotal to the department’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inquiries from the public, developers, and contractors

• Support planning application reviews and log submissions

• Prepare and distribute Planning Act notices and documentation

• Facilitate internal and external meetings, including minute taking

• Assist in processing payments for planning applications

Requirements:

• Post-Secondary education in a related field required

• At least two years of experience in office administration

• Skilled in Microsoft Office and database management

• Strong communication abilities and customer service focus

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and Police Records Check
