We are on the lookout for several legal transcriptionists capable of working part-time or full-time in our office. This role focuses on typing transcripts of audio recordings and involves quality assurance of completed work. Confidentiality and adherence to specific client guidelines are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create verbatim transcripts from audio and video recordings
• Follow client-specific rules for formatting and editing
• Keep all client information confidential
• Identify areas for personal improvement in transcription
Requirements:
• Proficient English grammar and comprehension
• Typing speed of at least 80 words per minute
• Must have lived in Canada for the previous 5 years
• Ability to understand a range of English accents
• Must be at least 18 years old with a recent background check
