Reporting to the Chief Building Official, you will oversee the processing of building permit applications and manage inspection requests. Ideal candidates will have post-secondary education and a minimum of two years’ experience in a municipal or construction-related field. Comprehensive training is provided to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to building permit inquiries and client needs

• Process and maintain applications and permit files

• Organize inspection requests and schedules

• Ensure permits are closed accurately and timely

• Provide effective customer service to the public

Requirements:

• Educational background in Office or Building Administration

• Two years of relevant municipal experience preferred

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe products

• Excellent communication in English and French

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure
