Trust Administrator

Position: RBC Trust Administrator
Support the Institutional Trust Services team at RBC Royal Trust as a Trust Administrator in Ottawa. This full-time role focuses on administration, client service, and team collaboration.

As a Trust Administrator with RBC Royal Trust, you will assist Relationship Managers in delivering top-tier account administration for your assigned book of business. Your responsibilities will encompass timely communications, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with governing documents and client needs. Success in this role requires being an effective team player, demonstrating sound decision-making, and maintaining high organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Relationship Managers with efficient account administration

• Communicate proactively with managers and external contacts

• Stay updated on investment procedures and philosophies

• Ensure accurate internal systems for client information

• Train new staff and provide backup when needed

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• 1-3 years in banking or investment industry preferred

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Computer literate with attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
