RVezy is an innovative travel experience company that brings aspiring vacationers and RV owners together. Founded in 2016, we provide a platform for motorhome and travel trailer rentals available across Canada and the United States.
RVezy serves tens of thousands of hosts and guests across North America, and you will be helping ensure they have a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience throughout each RV rental. We have a tight-knit team that has meaningful relationships with one another. To see how we started, check out our pitch on Dragon’s Den. Since then, we have grown exponentially, and our three-year revenue increased 286%, as mentioned in the Globe and Mail’s:
Canada's Top Growing Companies 2023.
Over the past 12–18 months, RVezy has undergone a significant operational reset—moving from substantial losses to a profitable, EBITDA-positive business. With that foundation in place, we now have clear, ambitious, and attainable OKRs, with user acquisition as a core pillar of our next stage of growth.
Head of User AcquisitionThis is a senior, hands‑on role reporting directly to the CEO and working in close partnership on growth strategy, investment decisions, and execution priorities tied to company OKRs. This is not a brand-only or purely strategic role. The successful candidate will work directly in data, platforms, and tools while setting and executing the acquisition strategy.
This is a new, critical leadership role as we scale responsibly and profitably.
Key responsibilities- Own the end-to-end user acquisition strategy aligned to company OKRs
- Lead paid acquisition performance, including agency management
- Drive non-paid growth through SEO, organic search, and LLM-based discovery
- Own growth analytics, attribution modeling, and experimentation
- Direct lifecycle, promotional, and transactional communications in partnership with product marketing
- Lead supply-side acquisition in support of overall company growth objectives
- Scale output through the use of AI tools and short-term contractors rather than large teams
Competencies, skills, and attributes:
- Demonstrated ownership of user acquisition or growth outcomes
- Strong analytical mindset with deep attribution and performance literacy
- Experience scaling both paid and non-paid acquisition channels
- Clear understanding of modern SEO and AI-era discovery
- Comfort working directly in ad platforms, analytics tools, and dashboards
- Ability to clearly articulate actions taken and measurable results achieved
- Hands‑on, execution‑focused approach with a bias toward action
- Comfortable operating in a lean, high‑leverage environment with clear accountability
- Strong partnership mindset, including working closely with the CEO
- Have experience growing a two‑sided marketplace
- Have led acquisition efforts during or following a profitability‑focused reset
- Have used AI tools to meaningfully increase output or efficiency
- Enjoy building durable, defensible growth systems rather than short‑term wins
This role may not be for you if:
- You prefer focusing primarily on brand awareness rather than measurable acquisition outcomes
- You enjoy high‑level strategy but don't want to be hands‑on in platforms, data, and experimentation
- You rely on large teams or heavy resourcing to drive results
- You're uncomfortable with clear ownership, accountability, or direct partnership with the CEO
- You're looking for a slower‑paced environment with less emphasis on iteration and performance
The role will require you to work from our office in Centretown 2‑3 days per week.
- RVezy stock options (we believe every colleague should be an owner).
- Fifteen paid vacation days with extra time off over the winter holidays.
- Health and dental benefits from day one.
- Bonus plan connected to company goals
- One paid weeklong RV rental trip every year.
- Opportunities to attend festivals, concerts, and RV shows across Canada and the U.S.
- Frequent social events and a steady supply of coffee and snacks in the office.
- Dog‑friendly work environment in the Ottawa office.
- Flexible work hours and a relaxed dress code.
- Company laptop and equipment provided.
