ProfessionalServices - Exception Template

Position Purpose

Perform various analysis and interpretation to link business needs and objectives for assigned function. Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers, and user acceptance testing of new systems.

Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes.

Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, recommend potential business solutions and assist with implementation.

Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 0–2 years of business process analysis or data analysis experience. Project management experience preferred.

Years of experience required: 0–3 years required, 1+ preferred. Expected Level of Excel experience:
Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, etc. No need for Power Query, Macros, or regular data manipulation.

• Experience working with data from external systems or databases using SQL is a plus but not required.
• Top 3 must‑have hard skills (stack‑ranked):
• Excel (specifics listed above).
• Analytical skills – ability to extract insights, perform trend analysis/error detection, and make recommendations.
• Experience working with large data sets and/or insurance background.

Compliance coding and prepay compliance (payment integrity).
