Shape the future of the egg industry as an Agricultural Economist at Egg Farmers of Canada. Provide critical insights through data analysis and collaboration with various stakeholders.
This role calls for an experienced Economist excited about project-based work within the Agricultural Policy and Costing team. You will be tasked with conducting comprehensive research and analysis of the Cost of Production, responding to analytical requests, and supporting team deliverables. Your ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in conducting the multi-year Cost of Production study
• Analyze and report on agricultural production metrics
• Support data validation and Board presentation creation
• Provide economic insights through data-related requests
• Mentor Analysts and ensure task delegation within the team
Requirements:
• Degree in Agricultural Economics or related field
• 5-6 years of professional experience required
• Strong analytical skills, particularly with MS Excel
• Advanced data analysis capabilities and forecasting skills
• Proven communication skills for non-technical presentations
