Play a key role in shaping electricity policy as a Policy Analyst at Electricity Canada. Focus on committee coordination and policy analysis to support industry stakeholders effectively.
The Policy Analyst will report to the Director of Distribution and assist with several committees including the Grid Modernization Committee. Responsibilities include developing meeting materials, conducting environmental scans, and monitoring regulatory developments. You will support member engagement and ensure that committee initiatives meet governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate committee meetings and track action items
• Develop consultation responses and policy briefing materials
• Conduct research to inform committee discussions and strategies
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders
Requirements:
• University degree in relevant fields like public policy
• Minimum of 2 years experience in stakeholder engagement
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with organizational skills
