In this indeterminate role, you will implement business and contracting schedules as per the Inuit Impact and Benefits Agreements (IIBA). The Kitikmeot Qualified Business Registry Officer will monitor contracting processes, prepare and present reports, and offer support to the Community Economic Development Organization (CEDO) Committee. Occasional travel may be required to maintain project momentum.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee execution of IIBA contracting schedules
• Monitor and analyze Inuit business contracting data
• Develop detailed reports for management
• Collaborate with the Community Economic Development Organization Committee
• Assist in capacity building for local contractors
Requirements:
• Office Management or Administration diploma
• 3-5 years of industry experience required
• Understanding of procurement processes beneficial
• Fluency in Inuinnaqtun or Inuktitut is a plus
• Ability to travel when necessary
Contribute to Inuit economic development through your role with the Kitikmeot Inuit Association.
