About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven, full-time Consultant to join our consulting team. This role is designed for a professional with strong analytical skills and a desire to support our senior consultants in delivering high-quality services and strategic value to our clients.

You will be responsible for supporting our team in delivering projects, conducting research, analyzing data, and assisting in the preparation and delivery of presentations and written materials.

In this role, ideal for emerging Consultants with a couple of years of experience under their belts, you will work alongside a diverse, innovative and experienced team and be responsible for;

  • Research & Analysis:
    Conduct market and industry research to gather insights for various consulting engagements. Analyze data from multiple sources to extract key findings and trends.
  • Data Collection & Collation:
    Assist in gathering, organizing, and maintaining data from clients, surveys, and other sources to support project needs.
  • Presentation & Report Preparation:
    Help create client-facing presentations, reports, and other materials that summarize findings and insights in a clear, concise manner. Support senior consultants in client workshops with design, delivery, documentation and follow-up.
  • Survey Design & Administration:
    Assist senior team members by designing and administering surveys, analyzing responses, and summarizing results.
  • Project Team Support:
    Including project coordination, meeting planning and preparation, interview, workshop and brainstorming sessions, and solution and recommendations development.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of project progress, data sources, and research findings.

Working with us

We are a remote first company, located in Canada. You must be eligible to work in Canada. This is a full-time position of 35 hours a week. As our clients are Canadian municipalities, we tend to work with them during business hours (across Canadian time zones) Monday through Friday. Our work enables a fairly flexible work schedule and occasionally requires onsite work with a client or our team.

What you bring to the position

  • Post secondary degree in business, economics, data science, or any related field
  • Prior internship or work experience in consulting, business analysis, government services, or research (preferred)
  • Prior experience working in a municipality with an understanding of public administration an asset
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data, synthesizing findings and presenting insights to support decision making processes
  • Strong experience with Excel or data analysis and data visualization tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present information clearly and concisely, to a range of audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated in ability to work productively with and build positive working relationships with diverse groups of people from experienced consultants, technical experts, clients
