This 18-month contract role requires seasoned expertise in procurement governance. You will lead end-to-end procurement activities while managing relationships with internal clients and suppliers. Your goal is to balance service delivery with compliance, ultimately supporting global initiatives and enhancing project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead comprehensive procurement activities from planning to close-out
• Advise internal clients to guarantee compliance and service delivery
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and resolve disputes
• Identify procurement risks and ensure adherence to contractual agreements
• Facilitate process improvements and share procurement knowledge
Requirements:
• 5+ years in procurement within regulated environments
• Strong understanding of source-to-settlement processes
• Familiarity with Canadian trade agreements, such as CFTA
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Experience with ERP systems, including SAP Ariba, is advantageous
