Workplace Strategist, Integration
We are looking for a full‑time Workplace Strategist, Integration to join our team. The position is hybrid (2–3 days per week) from any of our BGIS office locations in Ottawa, Markham or Montreal.
Summary
As Workplace Strategist, Integration, you will consult with clients and organizations to ensure coordination of communications, connections, direction and outcome. You will act as the connector, identify key opportunities and correlations, and ensure necessary links and adjustments are made. You will work closely with client organizations to develop and deliver solutions that integrate all work streams in workplace fit‑up and transformation, including early consultation, interior design, furniture procurement, relocation, sustainable decommissioning and change‑management programs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide full involvement with recruiting talent and mentor coaching team members.
- Recommend compensation adjustments and manage all aspects of performance.
- Act as primary contact and project lead for medium to large mandates, directing and reviewing work of other team members.
- Integrate work streams and collaborate with client account teams and project managers to deliver project excellence.
- Identify concerns, assemble core project teams, maintain schedule and budget.
- Lead project meetings to define goals, milestones and ensure intake information is robust and validated.
- Track and evaluate decisions for impact on other work streams, identify connections and opportunities, and create communication networks.
- Act as main point of contact for tenants, PSPC, project groups and other participants, and coordinate all communications and activities.
- Distribute reports from the Project Team and Workplace Solutions and set project pace.
- Confirm design intent and advocate for occupant vision, resolve conflict, and manage vendor relationships.
- Provide regular reporting to clients as defined by delivery plans.
- Maintain and build client relationships, assist with business development opportunities, and support key client account management.
- University or College Degree (Bachelor’s level or higher).
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate workplace experience and/or project delivery services (interior design, project management, corporate real estate).
- Education or certification in Interior Design, Change Management, Project Management, Facilities Management or related fields.
- Ability to manage medium to large projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, MS Project, and communication with senior project audiences.
- Excellent meeting leadership, verbal, written and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, analytical and service‑driven skills.
Salary
This is a regular, full‑time position with a salary range of $73,600 – $92,000 per annum, based on experience, education and performance.
