Job Summary
Work Term:
Fall 2027 (September – December 2027). The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) is seeking students for a co‑op or internship placement during this period.
Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited co‑op or internship program that satisfies their post‑secondary institution’s requirements. CSIS values diversity and inclusion; candidates from employment equity groups are encouraged to self‑identify.
Responsibility OverviewStudents will support work on change management or project management initiatives. They will be paired with experienced employees who will provide feedback throughout the term.
Stream 1 – Change Management- Collaborate with Change Management Advisors to develop and implement change roadmaps.
- Support change‑readiness assessments and facilitate mitigation strategies.
- Assist in facilitating change workshops and engagement sessions.
- Support employees on best practices to improve adoption of change management.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management on change readiness and effectiveness.
- Collaborate on communication strategies and conduct post‑implementation evaluations.
- Assist with enterprise‑wide portfolio analysis, alignment with strategic objectives, and risk assessment.
- Develop project artefacts and refine cost‑benefit analysis frameworks.
- Support the development of performance dashboards and data‑driven insights for decision‑making.
- Implement process and document revisions for continuous improvement.
- College Diploma student in their 3rd year.
- Undergraduate degree student in their 3rd year or higher.
- Graduate‑level student (Master’s or Ph.D.).

Annual Rate: $46,548–$66,035
Hourly Rate: $23.79–$33.75
Graduate
Annual Rate: $53,220–$67,151
Hourly Rate: $27.20–$34.32
Candidates must be eligible to receive an Enhanced Top Secret security clearance. The clearance process includes a security interview, a polygraph, and a background investigation. Candidates must not use illegal drugs.
